Trial by Fire and Lochmere Arrow
Featuring the Bright Hills Cooks’ Guild ultimate cooking challenge, the Trial by Fire! Rules and categories forthcoming. Face down the fire of the dragons as archers compete for the covetous Lochmere Arrow! Teams of two from the same Barony (or shire) will shoot to determine who gets to bring home this prize and show Atlantia which group truly hosts the best archers. Storvik Baronial Investiture and Novice Tournament
The Barony of Storvik invites all good gentles to the Storvik Novice Tournament. Pennsic War 45
Join us for Pennsic War 45 from July 29 – August 14, 2016 Pennsic is an annual event, in the guise of a “War” between the Kingdoms of the East and the Middle, hosted by the Kingdom of Æthelmearc. Pennsic is also the largest SCA event, with attendance in recent years exceeding 10,000. The scheduled activities include large melee battles, tournaments, archery, stage performances, dancing, and hundreds of classes on medieval topics. The Shire’s next business meeting / A&S day will be on Sunday, 8/21, 10:30 in the meeting room at the Snow Hill Library. The business meeting will be held at 12:00 and A&S will continue afterward.

Battle on the Bay 2016
As the summer comes to an end, the new drekkars of Storvik arrive bringing home goods and treasures to bestow on the warriors, artisans and populace of their lands. Fall Coronation
Atlantian Fall Coronation 2016 It is the 1100’s and Henry II sits on the throne but all is not well. His sons, John and Richard, plan a rebellion against their father. It is a matter of the sons thinking their father was not giving them the power and honor they deserved. What shall happen as father battles against sons? Chesapeake Celtic Festival
Check out our encampment at the 26th Annual Chesapeake Celtic Festival on October 1st and 2nd at Furnace Town and experience arts, crafts, fighting in armor, music, language, and even a joke or two.
